Call me Marv
I’m an actress and theater artist born, bred, and based in New york city
I like weird, funny, and physical theater.
Let’s make some together.
About me
After escaping the chains of all-girls catholic school, I completed my BFA in Drama at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. First, developing an interdisciplinary theater practice at Playwrights Horizons Theater School while pursuing professional acting work in Bonefruit at Soho Playhouse and Delphi Falls at New Perspectives Theater Company. I then studied Grotowski and physical theater at the Experimental Theater Wing, followed by a summer creating multimedia art in Havana at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba (ask me about it!). I completed my studies with a year of conservatory Shakespeare training at the Classical Studio, performing a three month run of Richard III in the role of Buckingham.
I had the honor of performing in the 2023 NYU Reality Show, a collaboratively devised musical-sketch variety show, at Radio City Music Hall. Going on to professionally record and sing music from the show at Yankee Stadium. Additionally, I was a troupe member of After School Improv, Tisch’s premier long-form improv team, serving as the group’s president from 2023 to 2024.
Since graduating, I have become a founding member of Dyke Theater Co. (DTC), a new lesbian theater collective and community space, performing at the Tank’s PrideFest and LimeFest and acting as Executive Director during the company’s launch. I have also performed with the Elif Collective and the Brooklyn Center for Theater Research.
I’m currently unrepresented, non-union, and stoked to work with you.
